Gold for the world you play
Forever has no named realms. Each region is one world per ruleset: Normal, PvP, Roleplay and RP-PvP, added by Blizzard on October 22, with Hardcore to follow in winter. Gold never crosses from one ruleset to another, so buy for the one your character lives in.
PvE gold
Quests, dungeons and raids without forced world PvP. The biggest population, so the most farmers and usually the deepest stock.
PvP gold
World PvP is always on. A fair share of the gold goes on potions, bandages and repair bills, not only on the mount.
Roleplay gold
Normal rules with a story-first community. Fewer players means fewer sellers, so stock runs thinner here.
Hardcore gold
One life per character, opening this winter. A hero who dies can carry on in another ruleset, gold and all.
Launch roadmap
The dates Blizzard has set for the first year. Each step is also a moment when gold demand jumps: raid consumables in December, a fresh world for Hardcore in winter.

Before you buy
When can I buy WoW Forever gold?
Right now. Our seller already lists gold for every ruleset on the US side, and each line of the ladder shows its own stated delivery time. The game opens on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST; how an order placed before that moment is handed over is set out on the seller's page.
Did gold from the beta carry over?
No. The beta closed on October 21 and its characters were wiped along with everything they owned. Every player starts the live game with an empty purse, which is why the first weeks are when gold is hardest to come by.
Why is the price per coin and not per 1,000?
Forever is built on the original 2004 economy, where a single gold coin is real money. Riding training costs 100 gold at level 40 and 1,000 at level 60, not hundreds of thousands, so a per-coin price is the only one that reads honestly.
Can I spend gold on another ruleset or faction?
No to both. Each ruleset is a separate world with its own economy, and characters do not move between them. Trade and mail only work inside one faction, so the offer has to match the side and ruleset your character plays.
How does the gold reach my character?
The seller hands it over in game, either in a face-to-face trade or through the mailbox. You give a character name, ruleset and faction; nobody ever needs your account login.
Is gold cheaper at launch or a few weeks later?
On the beta the cheapest listing opened high and slid as more sellers arrived, and the price history keeps that record. Whether the live game follows the same curve is something no one can promise, so the ladder shows only what is asked today.
